HOW DO I CARE FOR MY HAT?

HOW DO I MAKE SURE I ORDER THE RIGHT SIZE HAT?

We strongly recommend each customer measures their head before purchasing their new hat to ensure they’re selecting the correct size. Just like shoe and clothing sizes, everyone has a unique head shape and size, which is why we offer a range of sizing options. We also urge customers to pay close attention to size and fit description on our individual product pages to assist with their purchase.

MY HAT DOESN’T FIT RIGHT, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We urge customers to pay close attention to size and fit description on each individual product page.

If your hat is too small, a hat stretcher will stretch your hat without making it too big. If you find your hat is just too tight, we recommend returning your hat for the next size up and adding a hat filler.

If your hat is too big, a hat filler may be an option as they reduce the hat size by approximately 1-2.5cm. By adding the filler, you can tailor the hat to fit your head shape and size perfectly.

If your hat is too big lengthways, and you can fit index finger at the front and back at the same time, we also suggest a hat filler.

HOW DO I MAKE MY HAT STIFFER?

If you wish to make your hat stiffer, we suggest using steam via a garment steamer (preferable) or an iron (using the steaming function). Simply steam the under-brim of your hat and let it lay on a flat surface overnight or until dry. You can also steam the top side of the brim and let is sit flat for a further period of time.

Our felt has been treated with a stiffening agent. Once this agent is reactivated by the steaming process, the hat should regain its original shape.

HOW DO I MAKE MY HAT FLOPPIER?

If you wish to make your hat floppier, we suggest using steam via a garment steamer (preferable) or an iron (using the steaming function). To make your hat floppier, you will need to steam the brim of your hat on both sides. You will then need to work the hat with your hands and mould it into your desired shape.

Once the hat has been steamed, hang it by the crown (the brim should not be in contact with any surface). This will allow your hat to dry from the steam into the desired shape. The hat may need to be re-worked a couple of times once dry from steaming to achieve your preferred shape.

Our felt has been treated with a stiffening agent to help it hold its form. Once this agent is reactivated by the steaming process, the hat can be encouraged to form a new shape.

CAN I GET MY LADYROSELLE HAT WET?

We do not recommend getting your Ladyroselle hat wet as there is a lacquer/stiffening agent applied to ensure the shape is maintained.

If your hat gets wet, we recommend patting it dry with a towel so that it does not lose its shape.

CAN I WEAR MY LADYROSELLE HAT IN THE SUN?

To avoid the color of your hat fading, please avoid prolonged periods of sun exposure.

THE ITEM I WANT IS OUT OF STOCK, WILL YOU BE RESTOCKING SOON?

All Ladyroselle hats are limited edition, as we believe our hats are as unique as our customers.

We do however re-stock some styles and try to do so within 2-6 weeks of becoming unavailable.

To be notified when an item is back in stock, please select the size and click ‘Notify Me When Available’ and follow the prompts.

If you have any questions about the re-stocking of items, please send us an email at service@ladyroselle.com and we can let you know whether or not the item is discontinued or if it will be re-stocked in the future.

DO YOU HAVE A SHOP I CAN VISIT?

Ladyroselle is an online fashion retailer, however we do have a small number of stockists that carry selected Ladyroselle styles in their boutiques. These can be found on our ‘stockists’ page

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

At Ladyroselle , we accept payment via Credit Card and Afterpay. All orders placed on this website will be charged in your local currency and are currently dispatched from our US warehouse.

WILL I NEED TO PAY TAXES?

When placing an order with Ladyroselle , customers are responsible for any duty, taxes, and custom requirements like taxes, fees, levies, costs or expenses associated with each order.

Ladyroselle is not responsible for any possible duties and taxes that may be applied by customs in the country where the delivery is being made.
